On October 9th, 2009 in Sandanski during the 5th Annual Meeting of the Bulgarian Local Authorities (8th – 10th October 2009), in front of a numerous audience – mayors and municipal councilors from over 30 Bulgarian municipalities and business representatives, Phoenix technology, a completely new trenchless method for rehabilitation of water supply and sewerage network, was presented.

Phoenix trenchless technology, or the so-called Cured-in Place Pipe /CIPP/ technology  is new for Bulgaria in the field of water supply and sewerage construction and is applicable for pipelines rehabilitation in short terms, financial profitability, environmental safety and without impediments to people residing and working at the location of the job site.

The technology guarantees 100% elimination of leakages, due to corrosion, old or dislocated joint packings and cracks. Pipes made of different materials (steel, asbestos cement, cast iron, reinforced concrete etc.) can be rehabilitated.
